Lance Landre
C.E.O.

I am a man of various backgrounds. I have had a full life of different personal adventures in different environments. I am an outdoorsman, adventurer, competitor, workaholic, gardener, handyman, father and husband. My life is full of challenges and accomplishments.

I can actually say that I brought the foundation to me. My wife (Cathy) and I are the founders and have dedicated the past 10 years to help families with their at-risk children. The foundation brings far more than an accomplishment as it brought new life from a tragic situation. It provided an opportunity to give to the world community a message of hope and understanding.

I cannot think of anything more rewarding than helping save a child's life or change the course of destructive behavior. I see that the foundation has brought promise, conviction to a cause and helping far more than my neighbor, my friend, my family.

My journey is relived every day that I speak with new families looking to place a child or find methods to help their child. I remember the negative beginning when words like "denial and fault" were superior to "change and growth". I received far more than a wake-up call. I received a means to accomplish personal and professional goals. The program is only part of my journey now. It has certainly given me the chance to change and the strength to step into the abyss.

Jeanne Shockley
Director of Operations

In September 2001, we were in crisis with our 13 year old daughter and found we no longer knew how to deal with her issue’s and placed her in a therapeutic facility for 22 months. During that time I was able to work on family issues and working toward transition of our daughter back into our home.

I learned about the C.S. Landre Foundation during this time and participated in fundraising events to benefit the great cause which is advocated through the foundation.

I began working for the foundation in January 2004 in Operations and enjoy working with families who are in crisis, supporting them, educating them and creating an atmosphere of awareness. The work I do at the foundation is rewarding and humbling at the same time because I have walked in the shoes of many parents who call our office.

I look forward to assisting you on your journey.

Cathy Landre
Assistant Director
of Operations

I have always worked in the background of the Foundation. Early on I worked to help younger teens with brothers and/or sisters in crisis along with raising our own two children who are now adults. I was recently named the Secretary of the Board of Directors.

I have been married to Lance for 34 years. We began this journey 12 years ago and have learned and grown so much in that amount of time. We’ve met many families and made many friends along the way. It is my purpose to assist you in your journey as best I can.
